"Zenolink Identifies Genetic Maximum Potential"
You are a novice golfer looking to reach your full potential.
You are an elite level golfer looking for an edge on your competition.
You are an injured golfer struggling to get back to peak form.
You are an golfer with a dream.

Join TEAM zenoLINK

zenoDIRECT connects you to a personalized expert performance evaluation based on 3-D motion analysis and functional assessment.

...and WE don't mean some form driven, "cookie cutter", generic evaluation with a supposedly individualized training program.

TEAM zenoLINK members receive a highly personal, very specific performance evaluation based on 3-D motion analysis and cutting edge functional assessement tools.

Our industry leading evaluation process is the foundation for creating training/rehabilitation programs individualized to the specific biomechanics and physical needs of the individual.

How Does zenoDIRECT Work?

You have the flexibility to collect data on yourself using two video cameras or go to one of our zenoLINK Testing Centers. The cost is $250 US to get started which includes:

> 2 Month zenoLINK account subscription which will give you free access to all of our golf plus other sport specific training information, webinars, customer support and the ability to ask technical, training, technique questions and with personal feedback. The account will provide you access to your 3-D data, training videos and other content, including video downloads and forum discussion.
> 1 full zenoLINK test
> A full technical analysis of your data in a multi media format
> We will put together a very specific Progressive Skills Training™ program derived from your data also in multi-media format.

After the free two months you can terminate or continue the service for $25 month. You can then retest yourself periodically at a cost $150 US with an active account which includes a test, video analysis of your data and an updated Progressive Skills Training™ program based on your new data results.

It’s basically like having your own personal biomechanics lab and consultant service.

Golf Swing Bio Mechanics

ZENOLINK next generation

what is zenolink?

zenolink is a diagnostic tool designed to provide information about functional performance during a specific activity. Data produced by zenolink testing quantifies both performance and injury potential through biomechanical measurements that include joint ROM, body segment coordination and outcome parameters.

zenolink was designed for the clinician: physical therapist, chiropractor, trainer.

Bad premise – a golfer loads and stores energy
during back swing rotations therefore, flexibility is
crucial for a full back swing and more power.
Correct biomechanics – the golfer loads muscles
during down swing accelerations...the back swing is
nothing more than a counter movement.

how do I use zenolink data?

zenolink is a measurement and diagnostic tool only. It does not tell you how to treat a patient or train an athlete. However, like any other measurement / diagnostic tool, zenolink provides invaluable information regarding a patient / athlete's functional capacity - performance and injury potential.

With zenolink data, it is possible to pin-point weakness or "break down" in movement patterns specific to a given activity. Even more importantly it is possible to link physical attributes (ie. strength, rom, stability) to weakness in functional movement patterns and outcome parameters. This affords a clinician the ability to create treatment / training programs that have a definite impact on performance for a given activity.

how does zenolink work?

zenolink is a three-dimensional (3-D) motion analysis product. Using mathematics, zenolink creates a 3-D representation or model of an individual performing a given activity or motion. Using that 3-D information, zenolink is able to make calculations and quantify biomechanical performance.

zenolink uses standard video as a collection medium and a manual digitization process to create 3-D motion data. Utilizing standard video and manual digitizing results in maximum collection/processing flexibility and responsiveness with minimum cost expenditure.

data collection

Data collection is a very simple process… two standard video cameras are set up at specific angles to the data collection area. A calibration unit is placed in the area where the patient/athlete will perform the activity and is filmed (using both cameras simultaneously) for approximately 30 seconds (note: when collecting data in a game environment the calibration process is performed prior to the start of the game). The patient/athlete is then filmed (using both cameras simultaneously) performing the activity.

-special note: the cameras can be, but do NOT have to be genlocked

Bad premise – the golf swing is relaxing fluid motion
with very little force or stress on joints, therefore
training should be endurance oriented – high rep, low
resistance.
Correct biomechanics – the golf swing whether it is being performed by a 25 year old or a 75 year old is a dynamic, ballistic power activity.t

data processing

When data arrives at welch-e technologies for processing, it is logged and queued to be processed (you are notified of its arrival and approximate processing queue). All data is processed in the order in which it arrives. A biomechanics technician will then digitize the video to construct the 3-D anatomical model. Once the 3-D model is produced, motion analysis is performed using the appropriate zenolink evaluation application. This motion analysis data is then loaded into the zenolink database and a report created. You are then notified that the evaluation is ready to be accessed.

how do I access zenolink motion data?

zenolink was built around a web based delivery platform.

This web based delivery platform was designed to provide maximum flexibility and responsiveness to clients. Rather than being restricted to one or even several computers with "special" product software/hardware, zenolink clients can access patient evaluations and motion data from any computer with a browser and an internet connection.

zenolink houses all of the "special" technical software/hardware and allows you access to it from anywhere at anytime.

Each zenolink client utilizes a secure internet account to access report data, account information, reference documents and resource materials. The zenolink web platform acts not solely as a conduit to data, but as an online community providing information and resource for improving the use of zenolink by clients and ultimately the ability to better treat patients/athletes

what does zenolink tell me?

zenolink measures an individual's biomechanics during a given activity. Biomechanical parameters include joint range of motion, body segment speed and core posture. However, zenolink goes beyond just making static measurements to mapping complex movement patterns. Using patented and proprietary data visualization techniques, dynamic coordination can be objectively quantified and evaluated - functional performance assessed.
more about this...

Physical attributes (ie. strength, flexibility, speed) can be directly related to faulty movement patterns. Faulty movement patterns can be correlated with break downs in performance.

In addition to mapping movement patterns, zenolink provides numerical assessment of parameters. This information is essential in both making a diagnosis and monitoring the effectiveness of a treatment/training program. Normals (both pattern and numeric) are provided for guidance in assessing data from welch-e technologies' database of research.
