Junior Customs
Level 1 Certification This class is designed for beginning golfers at least 8 years old. Level 1 clinics prepare juniors for certification testing and on-course evaluation for unaccompanied (without adult supervision) play at Indian Lakes Resort. The clinics meet for five 60-minute sessions juniors are introduced to the basics in putting, chipping and full-swing. Safety and etiquette requirements (basic rules, sportsmanship, etc.) are also introduced. An exam on safety and etiquette and an on-course evaluation will be held on the fifth and final meeting of the clinic. Juniors must meet minimum requirements to become certified. No course experience is required for this level. Cost: $150.00
Level 2 Level 2 is for certified juniors who have successfully completed Level 1. This clinic is designed to develop the basic putting, chipping and full swing skills learned in Level 1. The pitch shot is introduced at this level. Additional rules are introduced . Level 2 clinics meet for five 60-minute sessions and juniors must pass a written rules test to advance to the next level. Cost: $150.00
Level 3 level 3 is for certified juniors who have passed Level 2 testing. Different formats of play and the bunker shot are introduced at this level and the further development of basic putting, chipping, pitching and full-swing skills. Level 3 clinics meet for five 60-minute sessions and juniors must pass a written rules test to advance to the next level. Cost: $150.00
Level 4 This six-session program includes three one-hour training sessions and three 1½ hour on-course instructional sessions. During the one-hour training sessions, Lou will work with the juniors full swing, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and putting fundamentals. The 1½ hour on-course instruction will focus on course management, shot making, scoring and rules awareness development. Cost: $250
